This course is intended for engineering students, apprentices, and trade workers who have little to no working knowledge of drafting and want to learn how to read drawings (blueprints). The student will learn skills to develop a solid foundation for reading, understanding, and interpreting industrial prints. In today's world, it is important to understand blueprint reading basics because global transmittal of drawings has become commonplace, bringing on a whole new perspective to reading drawings in that drafting standars vary from country to country. You will learn about: ANSI, JIS and ISO drafting standards multiviews drawing format revision block notes and callouts bills of materials title block No prerequisite.
