Explore the world of two dimensional drafting on an introductory level. The student will learn basic drafting fundamentals and techniques in order to create simple sketches and drawings. Simultaneously, students will gain a basic working knowledge of today's main computer aided drafting tool AutoCAD. The course is designed for beginners entering the engineering field who have little to no working knowledge of drafting, AutoCAD, or a computer. You will learn: drafting equipment multiview drawing dimensioning & tolerancing section views ANSI drafting standards drawing format lettering line types & weights drawing system No prerequisite.
