FileMaker Pro 8.0 makes dealing with relational databases easier than ever before! Students will learn how to create more complex field definitions and calculations; how to work with many-to-many relationships, lookups, and table data summaries; and how to design more efficient layouts. In addition, course activities cover advanced scripting, networking databases, and publishing a database to the web. An overview of complex relationships will be provided. Specifically you will cover: n setting field options n defining one-to-many and many-to-many relationships n creating advanced layouts and script n using merge fields n sharing FileMaker Pro databases n mastering relational databases n setting up complex relationships Prerequisites: FileMaker Pro 8.0 Level I or equivalent experience.
