This hands-on workshop is intended for both the professional and hobbyist who wish to use digital photography to capture images of people, scenery and objects to share with others or to produce work-related documentation. You will learn: * digital camera terminology * photo composition * basic camera settings * digital image formats * downloading images to a PC * adjusting image brightness, contrast, size and color * preparing images for distribution and printing * burning images to a CD Prerequisite: Experience working on applications in a Windows environment. Each participant will use his/her own digital camera for each session. A four-megapixel or greater camera with at least 2x optical zoom is recommended. Bring your camera's user manual.
