2 credits Prerequisite: Admission to the Orthotics and Prosthetics BAS program. This course focuses on the utilization of computer automated design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) in orthotics and prosthetics. Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to measure and manufacture orthoses and prostheses through the tools of CAD/CAM including computers, digitizers, scanners, lathes, and milling machines. 32 contact hours.
