The course focuses on the universal components of a religious worldview which include concepts of the divine and ultimate reality, origins of the natural and social order, the human problem, dealing with evil, patterns of moral action, and ways to achieve salvation or liberation. Major theories of religion and the impact that these theories have had on society are examined. 47 contact hours.
