3 credits Prerequisite: Admission to the Orthotics and Prosthetics BAS Program. This course provides the student with an understanding of the research process. The student will develop techniques used in scientific research to critically evaluate scientific papers with regard to the measurements and methods used. The student will learn to formulate a simple research project and employ quantitative testing methods to reach conclusions. 32 contact hours.
