2 credits Prerequisites: BSC 2085-2085L with grades of "C" or higher. Corequisite: PHT 1121. Within a laboratory environment, this course will be devoted to the study of the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system with emphasis on the mechanical (functional) aspects of human motion and the application of kinesiology as related to therapeutic exercise. Observational, manual dexterity, and communication skills will be developed relevant to analyzing, demonstrating, monitoring and/or modifying therapeutic exercise/routines. 62 contact hours.
