3 credits Prerequisites: PHT 1217, PHT 1217L, PHT 2252, PHT 2252L and HSC 1531 with grades of "C" or higher. This course allows the student to correlate didactic background with basic patient care in the clinical setting. Each student is assigned to a clinical agency and performs specific physical therapy modalities and procedures on a variety of patients under the close supervision of a physical therapist. 40 contact hours per week for four weeks and 20 contact hours in the fifth week.
