2 credits Prerequisite: Departmental permission. This course will introduce students to the applications related to studio recording and electronic music production. Sequencing, notation and synthesis techniques will be studied and applied in compositional and arranging assignments. This course may be taken two (2) times for credit. One hour lesson per week plus two hours each week working in the Music Technology Laboratory on assigned projects. 16 contact hours.
