3 credits Pre or corequisites: MLT 2809L, MLT 2811L, MLT 2807L and MLT 2810L or permission of the program director. This course is the capstone course for the Medical Laboratory Technology Program and is designed to prepare students for career entry. Students gain experience in critical thinking and application of the body of professional knowledge through an interdisciplinary case study approach. Employability skills are also covered, as required by the Florida Department of Education. 47 contact hours or equivalent.
