1 credits Corequisite: MAE 4330. This course is designed for students who are majoring in secondary mathematics education and is offered concurrently with Instructional Methods in Secondary Mathematics with Technology. This course provides students with opportunities to apply the knowledge of teaching methods, techniques, and strategies learned in Instructional Methods in Secondary Mathematics with Technology. There are forty (40) to sixty (60) school-based hours of teaching/observation required and will be coordinated with in-service high school teachers and their curriculum schedules and needs. This course addresses specific Sunshine State Standards, subject matter competencies, and pedagogy pertinent to the discipline and required for certification. 17 contact hours.
