1 credits This course introduces strategies for establishing a relationship of trust in the mathematics classroom and creating a classroom environment of respect and rapport. Students will also learn techniques for producing positive student behavior. This course includes a minimum of 10 school-based hours of observation/teaching specifically related to principles of establishing a learning environment of trust, respect and rapport. This course addresses specific Sunshine State Standards, subject matter competencies, and pedagogy pertinent to the discipline and required for certification. 17 contact hours.
