2 credits Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Honors College. This course is designed to orient Honors College students to the community and to the Honors College philosophy. This course will feature leadership development including team-building, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. This course will also present strategies such as time management, academic responsibility, information literacy, and research opportunities within the disciplines. Emphasis will be on personal adjustment as well as community service. A service learning component is required. 30 contact hours.
