3 credits Prerequisite: (ENC 0020 and REA 0002) or EAP 1695 or a satisfactory score on the placement test. This is a course designed to acquaint the student with books and other literary media suitable for young children. Talks, exhibits, films, and projects will be of special interest to future teachers, parents, and others who work with young children. This course counts for credit towards early childhood education for the Pinellas County License Board. This course has a substantial writing requirement. 47 contact hours.
