1 credits Prerequisites: Either BSC 1083 or (BSC 1085/1085L and BSC 1086/1086L) or program director approval. Pre- or corequisite for Health Information Management, and Medical Coder students: CTS 1101. This course will provide the student with general pharmacology concepts and principles in the management of client care. The knowledge and skills required for safe, effective administration of therapeutic drugs and indications and contraindications associated with drug therapy are an integral part of this course. 32 contact hours.
