2 credits Pre-requisites for Healthcare Informatics Certificate students: HIM 1102, HIM 1212, HIM 1002, HIM 2652 all with grades of "C" or higher or program director approval. Pre- or co-requisite for Healthcare Informatics A.S. students: HIM 2004 with grade of "C" or higher. This course allows the student to participate in an internship associated with healthcare informatics operations and activities within a healthcare setting. The student will apply knowledge and skills gained from the healthcare informatics theoretical courses in an actual healthcare environment. 32 contact hours.
