3 credits This course provides a broad overview of the knowledge and processes of design. Students will study the technological problem solving process. Students will study the elements, principles and processes of design. Student will learn measurement, freehand technical sketching, basic elements of two-dimensional design and virtual design. Student work will include a wide range of design problem solving and technical illustrations. 47 contact hours.
