4 credits (For Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students Only) This course is designed to prepare deaf and hard of hearing students to better express ideas in writing and discussion. The course will use an interrelated approach to English language learning with emphasis on logical thinking and organized thoughts. The course provides experience in composing clear sentences, improving grammar skills, and writing for a specific purpose. This course provides basic instruction in paragraph composition. Individual conferences are provided. 5 class and laboratory hours weekly. 77 contact hours.
