3 credits This course prepares out-of-field educators or in-service teachers who need recertification to design, develop, implement and evaluate effective curriculum materials, methods and assessments in middle and high school Technology Education. The course focuses on the selection of standards-based teaching methods and assessment strategies for the teacher's specific instructional setting. Curricula will be developed using the Sunshine State Standards and Standards for Technological Literacy for technology education courses. 47 contact hours.
