3 credits Prerequisites: This course must be taken during the student's last term in the program after completion of EEC 1603, EEC 2300, EEC 2312, LAE 2000, EEC 1308, EEC 1600, EEC 2271 and Program Director approval. This course is a practicum experience in an early childhood care and education setting. Emphasis is upon student interaction with young children under the supervision of the classroom teacher or center director. Class meets two hours per week in the classroom and a minimum of 60 hours in the child care setting is required. 90 contact hours.
