3 credits Prerequisites: GRA 1100C or permission of program director. This is a computer-based course designed to develop the students' skills in digital image editing. Students will learn through the use of the computer how to create, edit and manipulate digital images from scanned photographs and artwork. Students will utilize retouching techniques to modify, enhance and reshape images, apply special effects, adjust color balance, do file management, and prepare their work for print output and electronic presentation. 92 contact hours.
