2 credits Prerequisite: Successful completion of BSC 2085/2085L, EMS 1119, 1119L, 1411, and 1421 all with a grade of "C" or better or EMS program director approval. Corequisites: EMS 2601 and 2601L, (BSC 2086 and BSC 2086L or BSC 1084C) and EMS 2664. This course will provide the student with general pharmacology concepts and principles in the management of client care. The knowledge and skills required for safe, effective administration of therapeutic drugs and indications and contraindications associated with drug therapy are an integral part of this course. 47 contact hours.
