This course provides the fundamental background and theory for the safe and effective use of x-radiation as it relates to dentistry. It encompasses the history of x-rays, production and uses of radiation, dental radiographic film, exposure factors, interpretation of dental radiographs, and radiation hygiene. 32 contact hours.
