3 credits "G" Prerequisites: Meets Honors College entrance criteria or approval of program dierctor. Microeconomic principles are used to analyze the operation of the market economy. The course will examine the theory of price and output determination under different market structures. Emphasis will be placed on discussion of contemporary microeconomic problems and issues. This course partially satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirements outlined in the General Education Requirements. Credit is not given for both ECO 2023 and ECO 2023H. 47 contact hours.
