3 credits "G" Prerequisite: Appropriate score on the SPC placement test or acceptance into the Honors College or approval of program director. This is a course designed to develop the expository writing skills of academically talented students so they can write effectively. It emphasizes prewriting techniques, organizational techniques, and essay writing techniques. Conferences are provided for individualized instruction. This course partially satisfies the writing requirements as outlined in the General Education Requirements. Credit is only given for one of the following: ENC 1121H, ENC 1101 or IDS 1101H. 47 contact hours.
