3 credits Prerequisite: COP 1822 or permission of the Dean . This is a survey course designed to introduce the concepts of Flash and multimedia animation. Students will be exposed to different areas of Flash and multimedia techniques that include text, images, audio, video and animation. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to manipulate text, produce simple animations, incorporate audio and video, and learn basic ActionScripting. They will learn to combine the components into Web sites. 47 contact hours.
