			3 credits Prerequisites: CHM 1025-1025L or one year of high school chemistry with laboratory. Prerequisite or corequisite: MAT 1033 or MAC 1105. This course places further emphasis on the mastery of equation writing and of calculations involving: gas laws, formulas, weight and volume relationships, and standard solution. The concept of significant figures is included. This course is not designed for credit toward a major in chemistry and may not be taken for credit subsequent to receiving a grade of "C" or better in CHM 1045 or CHM 1046. 47 contact hours.
