3 credits Prerequisite: ATE 1211 with a minimum grade of "C." This course is a study of the principles and practices related to veterinary pharmacology, obstetrics and pediatric care. Lecture topics will include a review of veterinary pharmacy and pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, principles of small animal obstetrics, and veterinary pediatric medicine. Emphasis is on the application of the principles of pharmacology, obstetrics and pediatrics in small animal veterinary practice. 47 contact hours.
