This course is designed to train students in the fundamentals of cutting, preparing, fitting and welding carbon steel pipe using oxygen-fuel cutting, horizontal metal lathe and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) with E6010 and E7018 electrodes. Welding procedures developed within the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) codes are used. Prerequisites: PMT0106, PMT0121, PMT0139, PMT0140, PMT0141, PMT0154, PMT0101, PMT0161. Corequisites: PMT0122, PMT0183, and PMT0182
