P This is the second course of a two-term survey of general physics intended for engineering, science, and preprofessional students. Main topics include an introduction to basic concepts of electricity and magnetism, optics, and modern physics. The laboratory experience is an integral part of the course and consists of selected experiments that correlate with the topics of the course. Prerequisites: PHY2048/L with minimum grade of C.
