P This is a one semester survey course in calculus and is not a substitute for any course in the calculus sequence. This course includes the study of functions; limits; continuity; derivatives of algebraic, logarithmic, and exponential functions; interpretations of the derivative; applications of derivatives to optimization, growth, decay, business and social science problems; integrals of algebraic, exponential, and logarithmic functions; introduction to methods of integration, including numerical estimation; and applications of the integral. Prerequisite: MAC1105 with grade of C or better or equivalent
