O This course is one of the laboratory components of Phase 1 Paramedic. The topics for this lab include: verbal patient communication, written documentation, use of radio equipment and review of EMT skills and patient assessment with the addition of paramedic advanced life support skills. It also will include basic and advanced airway management and ventilation, oxygen delivery, pharmacology related to respiratory emergencies, and dysrhythmia recognition, defibrillation, CPR, airway maintenance and ventilation, cardioversion, cardiac arrest management, pharmacology and related advanced cardiac life support procedures
