O This course is an introduction to the basic principles, characteristics, and conventions of coding with the current procedural terminology, (CPT) nomenclature and HCPCS II codes. This course must be passed with a grade of C or better. Either completion of or co-enrollment in HIM2472 or HSC2531 and HIM2453 or BSC2084.
