P LIT2120 is primarily a reading course that familiarizes students with selected masterpieces of World Literature from a variety of periods and locations after the 18th Century, with an emphasis on the non-Western world. Students will analyze, synthesize, and evaluate literature and literary contexts in classroom discussions and writing. LIT2120 qualifies as a writing intensive Gordon Rule course. It also fulfills the General Education Humanities Multicultural Studies Sub-Category C. A grade of C or higher in ENC1101 and ENC1102 is required for entry into LIT2120
