1.5 V Dental Health Education introduces the student to the dental needs of the community. Students will develop table clinics and educational projects and present them in the public, private and parochial schools in the community. The lecture portion of the course covers the roles of the dental assistant in community dental health education and discusses issues and areas that should be considered when developing and planning a community dental education presentation
