O This course provides the student with real experience in the field of Information Technology and Internet Services Technologies. Students are required to secure their own placements. This includes preparing a resume and interviewing for a position. An internship requires 75 hours of work at the placement site throughout the semester, to be completed in a manner acceptable to the student, the employer, and the CIS1949 instructor. This normally translates to working approximately 6-10 hours per week. Experiences are varied but often include: Web site design and Internet programming, programming in a language such as C++, and database work. Prerequisites: CIS2254 with a grade of C or better.
