O Introduction to Database Management is an introductory level, project-oriented database course. The emphasis will be on application development. Topics covered will include: database theory of structure and data modeling; creating and understanding Access objects; managing and manipulating data; relating tables; reporting; creating queries using the QBE; and producing a small, individual working application. The most current version of Access for MS Office will be used as our software. Prerequisites: CGS1000 and COP1000 with a minimum grade of C
