P A one semester course intended for life-sciences majors, it is a survey of the Kingdom Animalia, including the history, evolutionary relationships, form, functions, and natural history of members of the various phyla. The laboratory is an integral part of the course and focuses on selected representatives of the groups discussed. It is recommended that students have BSC2005/L, or the equivalent as background.
