O Students learn to utilize many of Linux's Internet services. Topics include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining DNS, DHCP, FTP, HTTP, POP3, SMTP, MySQL, and PHP server software. Prerequisite: CTS2321 CGS1000 I NTRODUCTION TO COLLEGE COMPUTING 3.0 P This course is for students to gain the computer skills needed to succeed in their academic careers and in today's workplace. Major topics include Web CT, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, the World Wide Web, electronic mail, file management, and computer hardware. Prerequisite: a passing score on the Computer Placement Exam
