O This course introduces students to the history of multimedia, the major concepts of multimedia, and provides them with hands-on experience in the use of multimedia applications. The curriculum includes an overview of current technology, implementations of multimedia, and current industry tools. Students will gain hands-on experience through activities using graphics, animation, sound, and video. Industry standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Macromedia Director, and Macromedia Flash will be introduced. Prerequisite: CGS2523
