O This is an introductory course covering the design and operation of aircraft structures and operating systems. The first section of the course covers the basic structure to include fuselage, empennage, and flight controls. The second section covers propulsion systems to include reciprocating engines and turbines. The third section covers the various operating systems to include electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fire protection, and environmental. ATF 1100, Introduction to Pilot Training, is a prerequisite for this course. It may not be taken concurrently
