P This course is intended for science majors or pre-professional students and includes the anatomy, physiology, and development of higher plants and their importance. The laboratory is an integral part of the course and consists of selected experiments which correlate with the lecture. BOT2010 and BOT2011 are independent courses. They do not represent a sequence. Prerequisites: Successful completion of BSC2005/L or equivalent. A basic knowledge of atomic structure and bonding is also required. Successful completion of the first term of the chemistry sequence is strongly recommended. Corequisite: BOT2010L
