P ART1752C introduces the student to the basic techniques of ceramics with an emphasis on wheel throwing, decorative, and glazing techniques. This course introduces the student to the creative process, concept development, and broadens and sensitizes the student to the materials and techniques involved in ceramic processes. Ceramics 2 Wheel Throwing satisfies the prerequisite requirement for students wishing to further their ceramic studies in ART1758C Ceramics 3, Intermediate Level. There is no prerequisite required or previous experience necessary in order to take this class
