O The principles of microprocessors are developed in a combination of lecture presentations and laboratory exercises. The organization of a typical microprocessor is explored and the way its internal resources may be organized with other ICs to perform tasks is examined. The control of these resources through machine and assembly language programming is a principal feature of the course. The emphasis is on the use of the microprocessor as a controller. Prerequisite: CET1114C
