Fundamentals of Practical Nursing Pre: Communications and Math Proficiencies Co: Designed to provide the student with an understanding of interrelated principles of nursing care. Nursing Arts Lab provides the opportunity for the student to learn skill sets by observing demonstrations followed by hands-on practice. Use of CAIs/CD-ROMs instructional tools gives the student an additional learning format. Concurrent clinical experience is offered in both long-term care facilities and acute care institutions. (75 hours of lecture, 90 hours of lab, 104 hours of clinical practice)
