Electronics 2 Pre: IEL205 Co: Introduces the concept of linear incremental AC models for the bipolar junction transistor (BJT), the junction field effect transistor (JFET) and the metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) field effect transistor. The concept of frequency response and Bode plot construction of amplifiers, operational amplifiers, oscillators and active filters will also be explored. Computer software tools and laboratory experiments are utilized to reinforce concepts. (3 hours of lecture, 2 hours of lab per week)
