Digital Electronics 1 Pre: IEL104 Co: This course will prepare students in digital electronics with topics related to number systems and codes, logic functions, and Boolean algebra. IC building blocks are used in applications ranging from logic gates to flip-flops, counters, registers, and arithmetic circuits. Algebraic reduction and mapping are used to minimize Boolean expressions and combinational logic circuits. Computer simulation of digital circuits will be used to verify actual hardware setups.
