Basic Communications Pre: Placement exam score Co: Students acquire the ability to write a clear, unified, and grammatically correct essay. A review of basic writing fundamentals is emphasized. The course integrates reading and writing to enable students to develop and reinforce their communication skills. It helps students apply their skills to other writing activities so they may achieve success in college. Students identified through the college assessment process must enroll in this course in their first semester. This course satisfies no elective requirement.
