Kennel Hygiene and Maintenance Pre: Communications Proficiency Co: This course is designed to familiarize the student with skills and knowledge necessary to operate and maintain a boarding kennel. Areas to be discussed include correct construction for any size boarding kennel, efficient design, environment control, security, sanitation, feeding and watering, exercising, disease prevention, record keeping, and customer relations. If time permits, the design and operation of a cattery will also be discussed. (2 hours of lecture per week)
